Young Family Programming

We offer a variety of great programs for our young families.

Young Families group events includes:  welcome back bagels on the first day of Religious School; Thanksgiving Food Preparation for those in need; Ladies Night Out (always a great time for the ladies); Game Night; Chametz Hunt (a joint event with Religious School & PJ Library), and a Food Fair.

Is your child in Pre-K? We offer a great opportunity for children to get a taste of our Religious School program with "Gesher: A Bridge to Religious School."Classes meet seven times throughout the year on Sunday mornings from 9:15 am to 10:30 am and includes music, crafts, and holiday material. To find out more details such as Dates, Times, Cost and Registration, please CLICK HERE.

Every month dozens of children in our area eagerly await the Mail Carrier, "Did I get my mail?" they ask.  They are not referring to letters from grandparents, candy or toys.  They are waiting for the monthly book they get from PJ Library at Midway Jewish Center.

Any family from the neighborhoods near the synagogue with a child age six to to eight years old can sign up to receive a free Jewish-themed book each month for their children.  We also hold special book-related events during the year for our PJ Library families to go with some of our favorite books.  To register for the PJ Library, click here.
